Lady Montague In Sensation In Chelsea. Lucky Escape From Sericus Injury: Lady Montague of Beauli travelled to the Chelsea Town Hall this afternoon aboard an ancient horse drawn fire engines to take part in the opening of the 9th. Autumn Antiques Fair. On arriving at the Town Hall - the driver jumped down from the seat - and then the horse bolted - hauling the fire engine, with Lady Montague still aboard - some hundreds of yards along the road - before it was get under control. Lady Montague was badly shaken. Lord Montague chased the runaway horse - in the veteran car that he was driving to the Fair. Photo shows A very scared - but relieved Lady Montague has a pat for the horse - after it had been stopped by P.C.J.R. Hatch (on right) - after the unexpected ride in Chelsea this afternoon.
