Dr. Barbara gets attention for her feet Edinburgh to London walk: Dr. Barbara Moore who is walking from Edinburgh to London made a short stop at Brotherton - at the Fox Inn where she had a spot of attention to her aching feet. Dr. Moore denied last night that she had accepted a lift for a distance of 14 miles from Leeming Bar on the Great North Road to Borough bridge. She said "its a lie crude, ungallant and undignified to try to drag her ham "in the dirt".
