Herbert Morrison And His Bride - In Manchester: The wedding took place in Rochdale, Lancashire, Parish Church today of Mr. Herbert Morrison Deputy Leader of the Opposition - to Miss Edith Meadowcroft. When somebody told Miss Meadowcroft that she may be the wife of the next Prime Minister - she answered by saying "If I am - I should be the most unorthodox Prime Minister's wife in history".
