The Security Council this afternoon began consideration of "The Middle East problem including the Palestinian question" after deciding to invite the palatine Liberation Organization (PLO) to participate in the discussion. Statements in the debate were made by the representatives of the PLO and of Libya. A view of the Council as it voted to invite the representative of the PLO to Participate in the debuted. The personal was adopted by a vote of 11 in favor to 1 against (united states ), with 3 abstentions (French, Italy, united kingdom).
