First Additional Food Parcels For Ruhr Miners: German miners who have reached their target figure in the Ruhr coal-mines, will be granted additional food parcels of 40,000 calories, by the U.S. authorities. The miners of the "Minister Achenbach" pit at Brambauer, near Dortmund were the first to receive these "care-parcels". Photo shows One of the miners, his face black with coal-dust seen receiving one of the parcels recently.
