Description
Locked ships drift in Channel; The 8,000 ton new Liberian steamer Michael C and the 2,613 ton French steamer, Dione, collided in the channel yesterday and drifted, locked together, near the treacherous Goodwins. The tug Lady Brassey separated the two vessels, took the Dione in tow and the Michael C steamed into Dover with her bows gashed.
