Frisian Festival.: Photo shows a scene from the play "Klaus Stoertebecker", presently staged in the village of Dornum, East Frisia, Northern Germany. Over 100 actors took part. background: Klaus Stoertebecker was a famous North German pirate of the Mediseval Age. He caught mant traders, was a constant threat to well-to-do merchants, but was muck liked by the poor to whom he gave many of the items he caught with his crew.
