Children dig up jewels. Cashier charged with Burgling residence of British Ambassador: Three children - digging for worms to use for fishing - in the garden city of Lindinjoe, outside Stockholm - uncovered a plastic bag - which was filled with gold and diamonds - bracelets - necklets - cigarette cases etc. They took the bag to the police. Later Heramn Khuithoff, a 35 year old cashier from the Hague, was arrested and charged with burling the residence of Sir Robert Hankey the British Ambassador. he was also charged with other buglaries in the Stockholm diplomatic quarter, Lady Hankey identified part of the jewellery - including a white gold cigarette case presented to her by the Queen during the state visit in June. Photo shows an expert examines some of the jewellery found in the plastic bag.
