Labor Party considers aid to Mr. Clynes; Mr. J.R. Clynes, aged 79, former cabinet minister and an old member of the Socialist movement, protested yesterday against refusal of his plea for financial help from a Parliamentary fund to which he had contributed. Within a few hours it was announced at Westminster that the matter would be considered by the Parliamentary labor party today. Pensions for ex cabinet ministers were discontinued about 50 years ago. He felt it was unjust that the fund to aid ex M.P.s should take no account of the special expenses of his wife's illness. His wife received a serious injury to the back in an air raid four years ago. Photo Shows Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Clynes, photographed at their Ruthey home last night. Twenty three years ago their address was Downing Street, when Mr. Clynes was Lord Privy Seal/
