The Tragic Case of Rita Allmark - Workmates refuse to speak to Giovanni Palese. Twenty six year old Rita Allmark a bus conductress - committed suicide by drowning herself an hour after 31 year old Giovanni Palese an Italian blacksmith had been acquitted of raping her - at Hawarden , Flint. Rita left a note - again accusing Giovanni of raping her. Feeling in the area where the Italian works - is rising - and his workmates have "sent him to Vocentry". Giovanni is working here on temporary licence from the Home Office - and lives at Crossway, Mancot Royal, near Hawarden. He is married to an English girl and has two British born sons. Photo shows Giovani Palese - he was accused of raping Rita Allmark - who afterwards committed suicide.
