Rehearsing New Negro Musical Comedy.. A rehearsal was held of the new Negro Musical Comedy "Simply Heaven" - which opens at the Adelphi Theater.. Included in the cast is Bertice Reading - colored actress and singer for whom an order of committal to prison was issued in the Chancery Division for non-payment of installments due under a judgment.
