Jack Hawkins Dies: Jack Hawkins, the famous film star, died today at St. Stephen's Hospital, Fulham. He was 62. A hospital spokesman said he died of a "secondary haemorrhage" which occured after an corporation in New York to fit a box to impassive his speaking voice.
