1964 Press Photo Japanese Journalist Shin Watanaba

In honour of the Japanese favourite film star Mariko Okada... which married on June 21st the film producer Yoshishige Yoshida in Aschau / Bavaria and wanted an original Bavarian milieu for her wedding, the well known Japanese journalist Shin Watanaba, who traveled to Germany only on behalf of his celebrating, slipped into these unaccustomed clothes. With help of the snow- with shirt, the leather shorts, the knee length stockings and the typical hat, the Japanese Watanaba became a real "Bavarian Boy."
