Henry Armstrong in London; Arriving in London yesterday, was the Rev. Henry Jackson, a small, plump, grayish minister of the Baptist Church, He was born 53 years ago in St. Louis. He went to Hight School, graduated intended to become a doctor and didn't because of the depression. Instead he got a job. Then one day, someone had thrown away a newspaper, and as there was currently a stormthe pages flew about more than somewhat. Suddenly the storm stopped. He looked up and a section of the paper landed at his feet. It was the sports section carryign a report that Kid Chocolate had got a 75,000 dollar purse for half an hour fight at the Polo grounds. So young Henry Jackson decided to take up the first game, and under the name of Henry Armstrong he became holder of three world titles simultaneously the featherweight, lightweigh and welterweight. He is in London to be honored next Monday by the Anglo American Sporting Club. Photo Shows Henry Jackson pictured in London yesterday. As Henry Armstrong he held three world titles simultaneously the only man ever to have done so.
