Economic Minister Enjoys Red-Bean Soup: Zentaro Kosaka, the Japanese director-general of the Economic Planning Agency, clad in full samurai armor, enjoys a bowl of "shiruko" sweet red-bean soup with rice cakes, at a special ceremony connected with the start of the New Year in mid-January. The festival was held at the Nippon Hall of Martial Arts in Tokyo.
