Seventy nine year old Freddy Roberts and Velia Dawes: Wealthy Freddy Roberts yesterday told why he and 47 year old Velia Dawes were not married at Caxton Hall, as planned. It was explained that Velia Dawes was already married but she has started divorce proceedings from her husband Edward Dawson. In spite of the wedding being postponed the couple held their party at Freddy's Park Lane flt and said they intend to marry as soon as Velia is divorced. She is the mother of two grown up sons and is grandmothers to an eleven months old baby.
