Elgin Avenue Squattters move out Peacefully after being offered alternate accommodation: The siege of Elgin Avenue, ended peacefully today when 200 squatters who had barricaded themselves in 17 Victorians houses in Maida Vale, West London, accepted alternative accommodation in Camberwell, South East London. Photo shows some of the squatters start to remove the barricades after their decision to leave Eligin Avenue peacefully today.
