German Woman Pastor here on visit: The Rev. Christa Grangel, secretary of the Committee for Parish Life of the Federation of Protestant Churches in East Germany who is here on a three-week visit, pictured yeasterday when preaching at the Church of the Ascension, Blackheath. Frau Grengel comes to England at a time when the issue of women priests is a very live one. She was ordained and became pastor of a church in Berlin and besides her parochial experience she has worked for the student's movement, and has represented then at World Student Christian Federation meetings. The main purpose of her visit however is to attend the General Synod of the Church of England, which opens tomorrow.
