A Newsman Becomes 'Acolyte': Lamberto De Camillis, 60, bachelor, catholic writer and reporter of the 'Osservatore Romano' the newspaper of the Holy See, has been consacrated by the card. Guiseppe Pauini as 'acolyte' during a ceremony in the church of SS. Apostles. The 'acolyte' is the greatest of the four minor orders of the roman religion that existed in Rome since the Pope Cornelius' time in the 250. The acolyte has the charge to accompany the descon and the sub deacon on the religious rites. The consacration of De Camillis the first since many and many years, happened after a faculty accorded by the Pope Paul VI that opens the Ministers also to the nuns and layman, who, therefore, can distributes the ~ucarist.
