1962 Press Photo Royal Horticultural Hall Westminster Physical Society Exhibit

Exhibition of the Physical society: The 1962 Annual Exhibition of the Institute of Physics and the Physical Society opened this morning at the Royal Horticultural Hall, Westminster. Photo shows Mr. D.S. Froome places the recording instruments into the cone of a meteoroligal Skylark Rocket head which is to be launched in June for use in observations from the second U.S. U.K. earth satellite, due to be launched in 1963.
