Early Gothic crucifixion fresco was discovered in a church of Cologne. Recently an early Gothic crucifixion fresco was discovered on th northern chorus wall in the church St. Kunibert in Cologne. This painting in fresco is about 500 years old and was hidden behind a wall cupboard.
