1959 Press Photo Sculpture of a man reading a book on a horse

This red tape, breaking down under the load of bureaucracy stands just in front of the entrance of the revenue office in the Furth town hall (near Nuremberg). An official with a sense of humor, who can use the knife as well as his pen, created this symbol which is often laughed about.
