1954 Press Photo Sculptress Miss Kate Parbury

The Bust that was busted. Head of the Colonial Secretary: Sculptress Miss Kate Parbury was to be seen working this morning repairing the bust of Mr. Alan Lennox - Boyd, Secretary of State for the Colonies at the ''Personalities in Sculpture'' exhibition being held at the Imperial Institution Art Gallery, South Kensington. The busy was knocked down and almost completely ruined by the crowd which attended the Private View of the show. Photo shows Miss Kate Parbury touching up some of the cracks in the re-assembled bust at the Imperial Institute Galleries this morning.
