Bedtime for boys in a cell homeless families share old Police Station . Four year old Gavin Collumb's bedroom is a cell He shares it with his two brothers . Mother and father , Mr. and Mrs. Jim Collumb, sleep in another cell. They are one of the four homeless families who have been housed in a discused police station in March Lanz, Leeds, by the city council . For seven months the collumbs have lived in the grim building , with its brick interior walls and concrete floors. The family were evicted from their homes said Mr. Collumb "because we were two payments behind with the rent. All four families have complained to the Leeds welfare dept. They say the building is freezing in the winter and stiffling in summer, and they have to share two baths in a room that was once a morque . Last night Councillor Albert Smith, chairman of the Leeds Welfare Services Committee , said : "We consider the accomodation is quite good enough . We spent ?7,000 making it fit to live in.
