Distribution of Shamrock to Irish Guardsmen St. Patrick's day ceremony at Piebright barracks: Major General Basil Eugster (late Irish Guards) who commands London District and the Household Brigade, today distributed Shamrock to all serving Irish Guardsmen (UK) and Old Comrades on the Elizabeth Barracks square at Pirbright. Photo shows an Irish Guardsman fixes a piece of shamrock on the hat of little 5 year old Lawrence Fanninf, whose father is at present serving in Aden.
