American Artist Exhibits in London for First Time. United States Ambassador John Hay Whitney Chats with American artist Lilian MacKendrick as he attends a private view of her paintings at the O'Hana Gallery in London this evening, April 22. the painting behind the artist is entitled "Chinese restaurant". Miss MacKendrick's first London exhibition opens at the Gallery tomorrow. The exhibition, comprising 33 pictures, is being staged by the O'Hana Gallery in Association with the U.S. Information Service.
