1965 Press Photo Clown Trequila With Son In Makeup Nil Diego Carrasco

Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
Early Starts.... ... who wants to become a real clown - and Nil wants too! He really intends to walk in his fathers steps, who is that huge and especially always cherry and happy. When Daddy, who is known as Clown Trequila (the evil name Diego Carrasco) enters the manège to make fun, children and adults burst into laughter. Nil adores this and when he becomes older he wants to do the same as his father. But is still takes some time until he will be able to give his first number. In the meantime he learns how to use the right make up. He is nearly perfect, since he watches Daddy every day how to get the red nose and the large mouth - only the sign at the front-head is very difficult. If daddy is in good temper like today, then he gives "private lesson for clowns" to his son. But for the time being little Nil can only dream of the day when he will be a well known clown. (At present Trequilla gives performance with the Spanish National Circus in Munich - where the picture was taken).

Photo measures 6 x 8.25 inches.
