1953 Press Photo Boys Loading Aid Packages For German Refugees Soviet Zone

"Germans Help Germans": Under this slogan they started in Celle an aid-campaign for all steps Saxonia for refugees from the Soviet Zone. The first step for the campaign which might be take as an example came from the city council of Celle. The beginning of the aid-campaign was a three-hours collection staged by 500 Celle children who collected during this time truck-loads and a horse-drawn cart full of Clothing's, shoes, toys and household furniture and implements.Most of the things was as good as new.
