1968 Press Photo Smoking pipes and small boy

Above the head : of that little boy these old pipes are reaching. Normally they are smoked by the members of the "pipe club " at Mogeldorf (near Nurnberg) . Once a month the "pipe-fans" meet at the club and pander to their favourite hobby. The pipes (our picture ) are about 1,60 m long and were made from maple nearly hundred years ago. Much of the equipment has been destroyed through wars, influence. But particularly during the last few years more old pieces could be attached to the collection.
