Budding Young Racing Drivers Compete In The "Junior Grand Prix" Championship At Crystal Palace The RAC's "Junior Grand Prix" finals took place when budding young racing drivers made their debut on the Crystal Palace's famous racing circuit. The Junior GP is open to boys and girls under the age of six. The young competitors race along a 75-yard straight in specially prepared racing cars - pedal power of course. The winner keeps the car - and the special crash helmet. Photo Shows:- Little 3½-year-old Nicola Westlake of Woking offers up a prayer just before the start of the race.
