1962 Press Photo Ecumenical Council wardrobe checks

In occasion of Ecumenical Council hundreds of the Priests come from all over the world to attend the Vatican Congress, take the opportunity to replenish their wardrobes, visiting the various tailors and artisans shops specialized in creating the various garments, Mitre and every sorts of clerical attire. The work requires days and days of patient application and at the end when they are completed all those garments can be considered masterpieces. We visited some of the most important laboratories in Rome and could make picture of particular value, following carefully the days-work of those wonderful "magicians"! Photo shows Father tries on the "cope" and the "mi~~", while a clerk shows to him "the pastoral staff".
