River Thames May be Drained to Solve Murder. If the body of 18 year old Christina Rund is not found in the next two or three days, Scotland Yard is to have a two mile stretch of the Thames from Teddington Lock to Richmond Weir drained. Never before has such a decision been made in a murder hunt. Police know that one girl, 16 year old Barbara Songhurst, of Teddington, was murdered and flung into the Thames on Sunday night. Christina, her friend, who was out with her, has not been seen since. Photo Shows: Chief Inspector Hannah, the officer in charge of the investigation seen near the scene of the crime.

Photo measures 6 x 8.25 inches.

Photo is dated 5-6-1953.
