World Cycling Championships at Leicester Opened by The Prime Minister Mr. Edward Heath. This afternoon Mr. Heath the Prime Minister opened the 1970 World Cycling Championships at the Saffron Lane Stadium, Leicester. the Championships will last until August 16th with nearly 800 entries from 38 countries taking part. Photo Shows: Two of the Hostesses dressed in Union Jack dresses with matching umbrella's. They will look after the competitors during the Championships.
