~1,500,000 Art Robbery on Dulwich Gallery The Worldsâs Biggest ever Picture Haul: The worldâs biggest art robbery was mad by a gang who snatched painting worth more than ~1,500,000 from Dulwich College Picture Galleryâs three famous Rembrandts âœGirl at the Windowâ, âœPortrait of Titus❠and âœPortrait of a Young Manâ. Three of the other paintings were by Rubens. The raiders broke in during the early hours this morning by removing a panel of an burglar alarm system. Scotland Yard launched a country-wide hunt for the art gang. Photo shows Detective Sergeant J. Blackman inspects the cut-out door panel by which the thieves entered the Dulwich Art Gallery.
