Trawler skipper Bob Rivett - talks of his experiences in the Black Frost area off Iceland: A press conference was held this afternoon at 35 Park Street, London - at which British Trawler Skipper Bob Rivett of the Hull Distant water Trawler ''Zircon'' spoke of his experiences in the Black Frost area off Iceland. He is the first skipper to return from the disaster area which resulted in the loss of two British trawlers with 40 lives. Bob Rivett was lucky to work his way out of the danger area but declares that the trip was the worst in his career. He was in touch with the sinking trawlers right to the seconds of their heeling over and foundering. Photo shows Skpper Bob Rivett pinpoints on the map the scene of the disaster off Iceland during the conference in London this afternoon. He says the trip was nightmare and the worst in his whole career.
