Italian actor Vittorio Gassman, with mustaches and beard becomes "The Prophet", the film that counts the story of a man disgusted of the world. he leaves Rome to live in a little novel at the slope of a mountain. During on of his 'preaching' in the city, he arrives in a camp when a company of 'hippies' is living. "The prophet" in front of his novelty overturns the camp. After the battle he will come back at his home.
