1977 Press Photo John Spencer Churchill Nephew Winston Attends Auction Paintings

Sir Winston Churchill paintings sold for £86,300 at Christie's: Five painting by Sir Winston Churchill were sold at Christie's today for a total of £86,300. A record price was paid of £48,000 for the Mimizan, which was painted by Sir Winston in 1924 when he was staying with the Duke of Westminster, who had a house at Mimizan, sixty miles south of Bordeaux. Photo shows Artist and Nephew of the Late Sir Winston Churchill , John Spencer Churchill seen during the sale at Christie's today.
