Description
Archbishop And Mrs. Ramsey Receive Uganda Newly-Weds. A newly-wed Uganda Asian couple, Mr. and Mrs. Sulfikaralli Esmail, moved into their new temporary home in Lambeth Palace. They were greeted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Michael Ramsey, and Mrs. Ramsey, who, together with the Church Commissioners, have made available a small cottage to the two Uganda refugees. Mr. Esmail, a 28-year-old farmer and qualified radio and television engineer and salesman, and his wife, Zebunisa, 24, a typist, were married just before leaving Uganda on October 9. They travelled from Stradishall Reception Centre, near Newmarket, to their new home in Lambeth Palace. The cottage, which has been redecorated and furnished by the Church Commissioners, will be rent and rates free.
