The Queen Visits The Academy Photo Shows: The queen stands before the famous painting by Franz Winterhalter of the "Royal Family" group of Queen Victoria and the Prince Consort and their children, during her visit to Burlington House for the Royal Academy's exhibition "Kings and Queens A.D. 653 - 1953. The Queen has loaned the largest single number of exhibits to the exhibition which opens the public today.
