Glenda Jackson Wins The Oscar For The Best Actress Of The Year
Glenda Jackson was awakened very early by a phone call from Los Angeles telling her she had won the Oscar for the best actress of the year. The Oscar was awarded for her performances as Gudrun in "Women In Love", and Juliet Mills received the award Glenda. Today Glenda was celebrating her triumph with friends at her home in Blackheath, London.
