HISTORIC GEMS LOST IN A TAXI... GEMS WORN BY MARIE ANTIONETTE... MISS RUTH RAILTON was on her way by taxi last night from Baker Street to her home in Maida Vale. With her she had a diamond-and-pearl necklace once worn by MARIE ANTIONETTE...She told Scotland Yard later that she forget about the necklace - and only remembered it after leaving the taxi...Miss Railton, the founder of the National Youth Orchestra was going to wear the necklace at a festival Hall Concert...Police last night were still trying to locate the taxi... KEYSTONE PHOTO SHOWS: MISS RUTH RAILTON - after she had lost her historic necklace in a taxi...
