27-1-53 âœEros❠gets its coronation âwash and brush upâ â The famous Eros statue is now having a special Coronation âWash and Brush upâ at the Morris Singer Company premises, Lambeth. Keystone Photo Shows: Mr. Thomas Denny of Brixton (left) and Mr. Ted White also of Brixton using soap water and cleansing power to bring the stature up to a bright aluminum finish at the factory this morning. The process is known as âœRepatinationâ.
