The first ceremony for the Holy year is the 'recognition of the Holy Gate, an old tradition to find the objects that, at the closing of each Jubilee the Pope lays in the center of the famous place, has had taken place in the St.Peter Basilica, Mons Giacomo Martin has found the golden silver and benzene medals that the Pope Pius XII put in a casket he 24 Dec 1950 when the holy gate was walked up.Photo Shows the Operation of recognition of the Holy Gate.
