The Danes believe countess Desiree could be the bride for Prince Charles?: Friends of the Danish court believe that 24-year old Countees Desiree Maartha Ingebourg of Rosenborg would be the perfect bride for Prince Charles. Desiree, nicknamed Dest, is the daughter of Count Flemming, formerly Prince of Denmark. He renounced his title when he married a commoner, Ruth Nielson in 1949. The Contess is a cousin of Queen Margarethe of Denmark. Tomorrow the Queen and Prince Philip will start a four-day State visit to Demark, so they will have a chance to meet Desiree. Photo shows Countess Desiree Maartha Ingeborg of Rosenborg who the Danes say is a perfect match for our Prince Charles.
