Gales delay departure of Danish Mailboat. Salvaged "Kronprins Frederik may leave tomorrow.": The Danish Mailboat "Kronprins Frederick" which caught fire and sank last April, was expected to leave Haywich this morning - towed by tugs e for Denmark. Heavy gales have made this impossible - and it is believed that the departure will be tomorrow instead. Photo shows L-R Mr. Samuel Zanett Liverpool salvage engineer; Captain Lauridsend of Esebjord and Mr. Arthur Carr a Cheshire Salvage Engineer - seen in what was originally the Officers' Quarters - of the vessel. The salvage men are sailing with the vessel to Denmark.

Photo measures 10.25 x 8 inches.

Photo is dated 09-09-1953.
