Three Feared Dead As Homes Sink Into Rail Tunnel Near Manchester: Three people were believed to have lost their lives - when three houses collapsed into the railway tunnel, known locally as "Black Harry" - over which they had been built in Temple drive, near Swinton, near Manchester, today.. The tunnel had been used as an ammunition dump during the war. Photo Shows: Working among the debris in an attempt to locate and rescue some of the trapped people.
