10 Killed And 87 Injured As Two Trains Collide In Thick Fog At Dagenham: Ten people were killed and eighty seven injured last night in another rail crash in thick fog when one of the train crashed into the rear of a stationary train at Dagenham. It happened on the busy Southead line as the last of the rush hour trains from Fenchurch-street took City workers home. Photo shows Rescuers work frantically to release some of the passengers trapped in the wrecked coach as they lie grotesquely together. It was 33 minutes before the shoeless girl on the left was freed. She just asked for a glass of water.

Photo measures 10 x 8 inches.

Photo is dated 1-31-1958.
