Coaches Of The "Royal Scot" Derailed. Crash Near Glasgow. Photo shows The rear coach of the "Royal Scot" stretched across the line- after six of the train's fourteen coached had become derailed at Abington, 44 miles south of Glasgow - while travelling from Eustone to Glasgow. Warped track is thought to be the cause. Only 29 people were injured - most of them not seriously.
