Dramatic fight for Life.: This dramatic picture was taken shortly after a building that was being demolished in Exeter street, near the Strand, London, collapsed. One of the workmen was buried underneath the rubble. For 45 minutes his workmates tore at the pile with their bar hands, helped by firemen and ambulancemen, but when they found him ha was dead. Photo shows the scene as the men race against time searching for their mate.
