Pilgrimage to the European Ecumenic Assembly. Some came as pilgrims to the meeting of the European Ecumenic Assembly held in Basel (Switzerland) from May 15th-20th. This group from Rotterdam had travelled down the Rhine carrying with them the famous Aachen crucifix.
